Early Life &
Background
Suhasini Rajaram Naidu,
popularly known as Sneha, was born on 12 October 1981 in Mumbai
into a Telugu family originally from Andhra Pradesh. Her childhood was spent in
Sharjah, UAE, where destiny found her at a cricket match — a Malayalam
producer spotted her and offered her a role, marking the beginning of her
cinematic journey.
Entry into Films
- Debut:
Ingane Oru Nilapakshi (2000, Malayalam) – as an aspiring dancer.
- Tamil Debut:
Ennavalle (2000) opposite Madhavan.
- Telugu Debut:
Priyamaina Neeku (2001).
- Early successes included Aanandham
(2001) and Hanuman Junction (2001).
Rise to Fame
Sneha quickly became
known for her expressive eyes and natural performances.
- 2002:
A landmark year with eight releases including Unnai Ninaithu, which
won her the Filmfare Award for Best Supporting Actress.

Sneha met actor Prasanna
during Achchamundu Achchamundu (2009). After years of speculation, they
married on 11 May 2012 in Chennai. The couple is blessed with two
children and resides in Chennai.
