Origins & Evolution
- Launch:
Began as ETV2 on 28 December 2003, under the Ramoji
Group’s ETV Network.
- Early Edge:
Alongside TV9 Telugu, it was among the first 24-hour Telugu news
channels, quickly gaining credibility during the 2004 Assembly
& General Elections.
- Rebranding:
In May 2014, after the bifurcation of Andhra Pradesh, ETV2
became ETV Andhra Pradesh, while ETV3 was renamed ETV
Telangana.

In 2014, Network18 acquired 24.5% stake in ETV Telugu channels,
strengthening its national media footprint.
